RockStar!But you knew that

Chicago Children’s Museum has a really cool exhibit as you enter. It’s called the Kid’s Street Fair, and there are mockups of all the basic booths you’ll find at an urban block party. An Admission Booth, an Ice Cream Cone & Salted Pretzel booth,  a  deep dish pizza station and a stage complete with  mocked-up  rock band  instruments.

EJ played everywhere but the stage for a very long time, but then when she did hit the stage she rocked out! She had the Guitar cutout and was playing and singing songs, then she threw her dressup scarf out into the audience. There was another little girl playing the drum and a boy singing backup, it was so exciting. We cheered and whistled and held lighters up during the power ballads. We both  wanted to cry because she was just so good. [mind you that's not just proud parents talking, there were strangers stopping to watch and EJ totally was connecting with the audience.]

    and on a different note…
