Monday again

It just was not nearly as bad as I always expect it to be. I always fear that after a weekend of having Mommy home that Mondays will be horrible. But today the Little Bug smiled upon me. When she woke up in the morning for her vitamins and nappy change she was happy to sit on the pillows and kick up her heels. She really loves to look out the window in the morning while I write my morning pages. She even gave me advance notice that she was getting tired and that I should turn her over so she could fall asleep.

It’s pretty amazing that someone so small and so young has such schedule that is rigorous. After the morning kicky session, she likes to sleep until noon. Today we took the dirty clothes to the laundry and walked up to 86th street. By the time we made it to 3rd avenue she was asleep in the Bjõrn. She didn’t wake up until I was in the Library at 73rd street.

Then in the afternoon after a couple of bottles and a torturous session with some cold water in our new wading pool. ¡She just doesn’t like cold water on her feet! We had a bath and another feeding before falling asleep. Mommy fed her after we had dinner and now everyone is sleeping while I continue with my last project: learning computer code.

I read several blogs in the last couple days and it seems that being a Dad is much more political than I thought it was. There are people in Congress or the State representative that have ideas about people being fathers and w=how they should get money or not to raise children. Anyways, it is a terrible exhertion of energy to even give this much of a recitation, but now that I am becoming aware, you know I will just wade right in and find a position within which to stand.
